Comunity Involvement

Mosier Information Services operates a Community Involvement Program which is designed to positively impact the community where we live and work. We do this by building relationships, inspiring philanthropy, and promoting goodwill both inside and outside the company. We are very proud of our community efforts and welcome the opportunity to do even more.

Computers For Kids - A partnership that makes a difference.

Computers for Kids began a partnership between The Boys & Girls Clubs of Lakeland & Mulberry and Mosier Information Services. The program was designed to enable local financially disadvantaged children to have the opportunity to use modern computer technology in their home. Now we have expanded the program to include AMI Lakeland, a non-profit afterschool program for at-risk youth based on positive reinforcement and experience.

The Concept Is Simple
Members of our local business (and private) community donate used computers, monitors, printers, paper, software and money for supplies. Mosier Information Services will refurbish the technology at no charge. The Boys & Girls Clubs or AMI will then donate the like-new technology to deserving youth and their families.

How You Can Help
If you have any type of technology like a printer, monitor or computer that you’re no longer using, consider donating it to this program. We will use it to enhance the life of a very special, deserving local child. It may not seem like much to you but if you could see the face of the child who receives it, you’d know what a difference it makes to them.

If you don’t have any extra technology, your monetary donation can help us provide a child with paper, ink or other supplies. To help, simply make your check payable to either "AMI Lakeland" or “The Boys & Girls Clubs of Lakeland & Mulberry” (be sure to write “Computers for Kids” in the memo to make sure it goes to the right program) and we will see to it that it is used for supplies and educational software for the children.

Again, the project is simple. We all give a little and the children gain a lot. Don’t forget, your donations are tax deductible.
