Every web development project we take on goes through a process which we call the MosierData QAS™, which stands for quality assurance system. While every project tends to have specific guidelines and needs, we effectively break your web development project down into five distinct phases:

- Needs Analysis
We go through an initial interview where we attempt to determine what you are expecting from your website and try to get a feel for your industry. It is very important that we cover as many details as possible to understand if you will need any special functionality or interactivity with your visitors. We also consider the type of design style which appeals to you.
- Estimate and Contract
Once we understand what you are looking for, we will deliver a customized quote that covers how much your web development project will cost and how long it will take to complete. If your project is over $2,500 we will attach a contract for services which outlines both our responsibilities and yours so that we can clearly understand our expectations of each other.
- Deposit and Scheduling
Once you've made the decision to move forward with the development of your website, you will need to execute the contract (if applicable) and submit a deposit to place your project on our schedule. For web sites under $2,500, the deposit is 50% of the project estimate. For web sites over $2,500, the deposit is 33% of the project. Projects are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be scheduled until your deposit (and contract if applicable) are submitted.
- Design Interview
This is the phase of the web design project where we nail down all of the asthetics of the site or application. We will review all aspects of your branding, including your logo, preferred colors, print materials and other items. We will also take a look at some example sites in your industry and try to determine what you feel are the most important design features and which ones you want to include in your site.
- Content Collection
Before work begins, you will need to provide us with content for each non-database driven page on your site. The content will need to be provided in an electronic format where we can simply copy and paste your text into your site. It is extremely important that you proofread your content and check for spelling and grammar before giving it to us, as excessive changes will be considered change orders and will increase the final cost of your project.
- Design Proof(s)
Our graphic designers will deliver you a design proof for each major type of page on your site. These pages vary from project to project but generally include a home page, a content-based page, a product or item listing page and a product or item detail page. Of course, these are only examples - there may be more or less design proofs depending on the complexity of your site design.
- Beta Site & In-Progress Viewing
We establish a private URL for your new website on one of our testing servers so that you may view the website development progress at any time.
- Database Development
If your project includes a database, and most do, the tables for storing your data will be created and basic or test data will be put in place. This allows the database driven pages to query a live database for testing purposes as they are being developed.
- Administrative Sections
In addition to the public areas of your site, you will be able to see the back-end, or administrative areas. These are the pages where you will review items such as orders, customers, blog entries, calendars or whatever the particular needs of your site dictate.
- Stylesheets & HTML Markup
This is where you see the designs from your web designer come to life. You will see your Navigation links or drop down menus, and rollover effects be created. The overall look and feel of your site is captured in a style sheet that will be reused on every page so that all of the sections of your site remain consistent.
- Dynamic Pages
The database-driven web pages and interactive features of your site are developed and tested individually. You will be able to see the progress of your development team at the private URL that is given to you.
- Fuctionality Testing
Every page on your site will be tested for functionality. All forms will be sumbitted with and without proper information to verify that validation is occuring. All output from dynamic pages will be tested to make sure it is accurate.
- Browser Compatibility Testing
We test-view your web site on a number of different operating systems, browser programs and even browser versions to insure that the web site design and functionality is compatible.
- Search Engine Readiness Check
This includes fine-tuning of all Meta Tags, Page Titles, Page Heading, Alt Image Tags, Link Text, and Page Body Text to insure correct format for being indexed by the search engines.
- Dead Link Check
This check is actually performed twice - once before the launching of your final site and once immediately after it goes live. This check makes sure that we identify and correct any misdirected links or missing files.
- Final Payment
Before taking your site live, final payment for our services will need to be arranged.
- Dead Link Check
We re-perform the dead link check in the same manner as phase 4.
- Documentation and Training
We deliver any relevant documentation to you on the operation of your site and/or server as well as schedule an online training course where we will train you and your employees on the proper administration and operation of the site tools.
- Project Close
At this point, your site is completed and has been delivered and we consider the project closed out.

Miscellaneous Recent Projects:
- 863 HomeBuyers
A clean, friendly site that integrates a contact form with a database and automates a marketing plan of 15 scheduled emails to potential home sellers over a period of 3 months. In addition, the site features a section for fellow investors to register and the company owners can match investors to potential sellers easliy.
- Atlas Travel Network
Atlas is one of the top travel agencies in the USA. Operating over 30 travel-related web sites had become a full-time job for a staff of 5 people. Mosier Information Services was brought in to help improve the efficiency of the web department. The result was a search-engine optimized database system and lightweight site design that was launched on escortedglobustours.com is being implemented on all of their sites. The underlying database itself is populated largely by automated XML connectors that connect to their suppliers for up-to-date travel information, virtually eliminating the need for manual data entry.
- Easy Homes 1-2-3
This is a fun, interactive implementation of our Premier Sites database system. Unlike most Premier Sites driven systems, this one is not for a Realtor, but for a property investor wanting to manage their own home inventory.
- Florida Hangar Insurance Program
This simple site has an online application form that, once filled out by the site visitor is converted to a PDF file and electronically inserted in to the underwriter's work queue.
- Headache Stay-Gone
This site is one where we worked with their existing designer to integrate a completely custom shopping cart and order tracking system. In addition we created a nationwide retail store finder but due to a change in the clients business model the store finder is no longer online.
- International Video Projects
A very quick and straightforward osCommerce Installation.
- LeMans Apartments & Suites
This site is a clean, basic site that has a few hidden features, including straming video.
- Lithium Springs - The Movie
Our involvement in this project included some of the Flash movies, a database where the site owner could maintain and update their own links and a custom shopping cart.
- My New Home Realty
This is another site based off our Premier Sites database system, however this one is unique in that it keeps track of a "buyer's rewards" total that tallies the amount of refunds given to home buyers.
- One Love
This is a mission outreach to orphans in Russia. This site showcases some flash elements as well as streaming video and media.
- Premier Showcase Homes
One of our most impressive projects, Premier Showcase offers online video tours to Realtors. In this project, we created the process for ordering the tours online. We also developed the model for converting the raw video, combining it with the voiceover and music and encoding in Flash. In the back end of this site is a workflow system that brings all of these components together, insuring that every step of the process is done correctly and on-time.
- Rhoads Stephens Real Estate Group
Another Premier Sites Database driven site. Enhancements include a custom Flash widget on the home page. The truly impressive design features a custom corporate identity created by our graphic designer from the company logo to the signs and even business cards and letterhead.
